Nerian Guarana and Gabbara 7 weeks old & some showresults

After some sirious thinking I'm hoping to find homes(or nice co-owner in Finland or abroad) for these lovely male puppies sired by Del Zarzozo Salvame from Afterglow X Nerian Deianira. I planned this litter for a very long time and my goal was get a bitch from it. Sadly it didn't happen, but I wish to use these for some of my girls in the future. As I still hope to get a new bitch in the house one day, I think that finding homes for these guys might be right decicion after all. I have couple of families coming to see the puppies at the end of this week. But as I am very picky about the families where I send my pups to and if I can't find families for them that fit like a glove, I'm keeping them home. I wish that their new owners would be capable and willing to take good care of dog as long as it lives, do the neccessary health tests and show them in good showcondition couple of times (curly or corded). They are suitable for all kinds of hobbys and are are almost housebroken.

This is Guarana:

This is Gabbara:

Other news:

Nerian Faro and our Angies beautiful doughter Asta won BIS2 Brace at our Club Show. I think this was the first time that corded poodles were shown in brace competition in Finland. They were 2nd best bitch and 2nd best male in the breed. Judge was Charlotte Sandell from kennel Huffish!

Faro has very nice head and great expression. Both of these showpics are taken by Mia Niemi.

We finished what I think is like 8th Champion for this year, when our little visitor EE CH, SE CH Pandorans Going Bananas became also FI CH! He is such a nice tiny boy and I will miss him dearly when he flies back home next month!

New Champions!!

The showseason hasn't even started yet, but we have managed to get two new champions.

Nerian Electra "Pilvi" became champion and best of breed 17.2.2013 under breed specialist Tom Isherwood. She was also shortlisted in group. If I remember correctly, this picture is taken by Elli Uotila. It shows some poodle charracter - I love it!

Second champion for this year is Nerian Deidamia "Della". Full sister to the bitch we have bred now.

Huge congrats to their owners - we are so proud of you!

Welcome to Finland white Toy SE CH Pandorans Going Bananas!!

I'm so happy to tell you that we are going to have a little visitor here next month. His nickname is Ragnar and he is owner by a dear friend of mine Annette Länghemmer from kennel Escorts.

He will be shown quite much during april and I'm very excited about this visit and can't wait to get to know him better. He has been doing very well in Sweden and we hope to be able to keep it up here too.

Felt like blogging a bit =)

We are finally going to have our G-litter! We haven't had any puppies in two years so these tiny lives are more than welcomed.

A little story about easy breederslife: During these two years time I bred one of my girls twice. First I took my dog to Sweden for few days. The bitch got a high fever after the mating and refused to move for couple of hours. When we got back to Finland I immidiately took her to a vet and she was diagnosed with infection. From the next season I thought to give it the last try. Wilda is amazing bitch so we had to use the last straw too. So I paid another studfee and we inseminated her surgically. When I went to pick her up after the operation the vet asked me to her room and said that "when I had her uterus in one had and the sperm in another - I still wasn't sure if it was worth it to put it in. Her uterus is full of cysts". Heartbraking situation. I had a lovely bitch there, my heart dog, and we were pretty sure that nothing was going to happen and still a huge bill waiting at the counter.. So she is now retired her without any babies.

After Palomas (Ee jCh Nerian Deianira) health tests came back all clear and I realized that the puppy I wanted to live with wasn't going to be available to buy. I need to breed it. I wish to breed dogs of a certain type, if they do well in shows that's great but not the only goal. I had shown Paloma to Michael Gadsby from Afterglow kennels when she was very young, he made her a group-winner (was BIS2 later that day and partisipated in my BIS3 breeders group) and he seemed to like her, so we talked about breeding her to one of his dogs. And now two years later we finally have.

Little semen container flew from UK to our vet Laszlo. 4.3. after 6 progesterone tests and coming back from showtrip in Estonia the night before, I drove from Kouvola to Kirkkonummi to whitness my first freezer-pups being made.

3.4. We went back there and saw those precious little ones on the screen <3... I can't wait another month to meet them!

In case you are interested in this combination, don't hesitate to contact me. Here is their pedigree: http://www.poodlepedigree.com/pedigree.asp?ID=411815
